The time required for 3d scanning varies by the size and complexity of the space but is sped up by several factors with recent advancements in 3d laser scanning technology. How long can I keep my exhibition displayed on Mused, and what happens when I want to turn it off?
You can continue to display your exhibition on Mused for as long as needed for your project. When you wish to turn it off, you can archive the entirety of the exhibition with an open source solution or retain a public copy on Archive.org
Do I fully own all of my data on Mused?
Yes, you reserve all rights to all of your data on the Mused platform, and it is never used anywhere other than your exhibition.
Where is the funding for Mused coming from?
Mused is developed out of projects funded by institutions such as the National Endowment for the Humanities, The Andrew J. Mellon Foundation, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, and others for museums and heritage sites around the world.
